yet another new year....
time sure flies
new term
i'm finally a lead teacher. with my own classes. and children that belong to me and only me!
ok lah my students for this year
will miss my babies
but at least i've worked with almost all of those i got, save for one...who is rather sweet at times =)
and very cute (when he is not saying "no!!" to the things i tell him to do...ohwell at least he's talking...)

dunno if 2010 will be a good year...it didnt really start off well
2009 didnt really end on a good note either
was totally >< on the last day of 2009 after i got back from work (half-day. and the only purpose of that half-day was to "move" into your new classrooms for the next year/sem. then went centre 2 for buffet lunch - seriously, cant we just have our own at our centre? we dont click with them anyways)
couldnt stop coughing
head was spinning and almost exploded from the incessant coughing
chinese sounded like korean and japanese to me
i coughed so hard and too much
until my abdominal muscles ached like hell
i sounded like a trans when i went to work at kumon
but luckily the incessant cough stopped and my voice came back right in time for me to resume work - still coughing, but in an able-to-work condition
ready to welcome a new term, my new class and MY students
though circle time was horrible on day 1 cos i almost lost my voice
and it was a busy week
many on leave/mc and i was left to fend for myself all alone with a class of students that couldnt sit still or listen to instructions (both my classes were sped for goodness sake!)
that chicken la! supposed to be my aide but only managed to help out one day this week... *sighs*
but im starting to like tuesdays and thursdays - break all the way til 4pm! cos my morn class only has students coming in on mondays, wednesdays and fridays ^^
but their iep goals are like, all so different...really like what boss said - "all wrong channel" one =_=
am getting a headache from thinking of a way to integrate everything into my lesson plans

wah it's been a long week
thank god it's finally the weekend
though i still gotta go kumon tomorrow - but hey! pay raise again! im now like, getting 10 bucks for every hour i work there on saturdays
then ah seng kor's wedding lunch buffet
then shopping =)
and i guess i'll prolly be ms hermit on lazy sunday hahs
